This class is for students who would like to explore the world of microntrollers and examine elementary problems and solutions for self driving cars. Students will be introduced to the Arduino microcontroller by sequencing through several basic lessons. This knowledge of sensors and motor control will be used to program an Arduino controlled 3D printed model car. This car will be able to sense how close objects are, will be able to join a platoon of vehicles and follow a lead vehicle and be able to navigate a maze on its own. Incoming grades 8-12
Must be enrolled as a full-time PPS student in the 2017-2018 school year to be eligible for this camp.
In an effort to make these camps available to all PPS students, students may register for
one STEP camp only, May 1-31.
Students may register for additional STEP camps after June 1.
